I'm Hannah Mayes, host and creator of "For the Love of Humanities."

 

I am a self-proclaimed lifelong learner who loves communicating, advocating for critical thinking, and discussing biblical truth. 

 

I graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in 2020 with a BA in Communication Arts and minors in Bible and Biblical Counseling.  Through my time in college, my passion for analyzing media, people, and life in general through the light of the Gospel has grown tremendously.

 

Currently, I live in Wisconsin with my husband, Aaron, and our many houseplants. I am pursuing my MA in Theatre from Regent University where I have continued to learn about the media, culture, and biblical truth. Some of my experiences include theatre education and direction, artistic design, and audio production.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, hiking, exploring museums, conversing in coffee shops, and showing Aaron an insane amount of dog videos.
